Savia Viegas is Senior Fulbright fellow 2004. On her return fron the United States, she relocated to Goa and began living in her family home in Camona. Despite what the tourist books may say, some of Goa's village have not modernised to support family and community life, she felt. You many have many bars and shacks in each village but there are no support systems for educational growth of young children.
